The Cole County Prosecutor's Office has charged a homeless woman they say was the victim of human trafficking after she allegedly attacked police at a Jefferson City hotel.

The Cole County Prosecutor's Office has charged a homeless woman they say was the victim of human trafficking after she allegedly attacked police at a Jefferson City hotel.
A Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement states Delisa Simmons, 30, is charged with three felony counts of third-degree assault and one felony count of resisting arrest along with a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault.
