FARGO — A fire at a south Fargo apartment complex that caused $365,000 in damage earlier this month started from improperly discarded cigarettes, according to city fire officials.
Fire crews responded the afternoon of June 14 to a report of a fire at the Cedar Pointe Apartments, 3325 17th Ave. S., near the Prairiewood Golf Course.
The fire started on the first-floor patio of the building, according to Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson. There were no reported injuries.
