The Congress has criticized the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for claiming that India's GDP has crossed the USD 4-trillion mark, accusing it of generating euphoria and headline management. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh accused Union ministers and the Maharashtra deputy chief minister of making a "fake" claim.
