Intense heat conditions continue to prevail in the State

Under the intense heat conditions, the state capital recorded 44.8 degree celsius in the afternoon and yellow alert has been issued by Met as warning; extreme heat conditions have been witnessed for the second time in the past four decades told Met.

The mercury crossed 44 degrees in the afternoon
