Jab to protect 28,000 babies from severe RSV illness to be offered over autumn and winter

A vaccine to prevent hundreds of babies getting seriously ill with RSV, which led to 1,397 hospitalisations last year and can kill, is expected to be offered to infants born this autumn and winter.
