JPSO investigating a Jefferson Transit bus crash in Metairie

METAIRIE, La. (WVUE) - The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Jefferson Transit bus crash in Metairie Sunday afternoon.
Deputies say a bus was rear-ended by a 1992 Nissan Maxima around 4:45 p.m. in the 3200 block of Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
Six passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash. One passenger was treated for injuries at the scene. A second passenger was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
