Cox’s Bazar Runway Expansion: Cabinet okays company appointment

A joint venture company that includes China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) has been awarded the Cox's Bazar airport runway expansion work for Tk 1,568.86 crore.
The cabinet committee on purchase approved the proposal of civil aviation and tourism ministry to appoint the joint venture of M/s CYWEB and CCECC for the expansion works at its 37th meeting held yesterday.
Abu Saleh Mostafa Kamal, additional secretary of the cabinet division, said this during a briefing to the journalists after the meeting.
