Financial crimes squad detectives have charged a 54-year-old Department of Justice employee after she allegedly accessed restricted information about herself and three others known to her.
The Kalgoorlie community corrections officer has been accused of unlawfully accessing restricted information by breaching a department database outside of her duties on four occasions between October and February.
Among their listed responsibilities, corrections officers case manage those accused who come before the courts and prepare reports about convicted offenders for sentencing and releasing authorities.
