CITY OF TABUK, Kalinga, Jan. 15 (PIA) – Small fruit processors here are venturing into vinegar production to make extra income this time of pandemic.
The Kalinga State University (KSU), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Trade and Industry and Integrated Chemists of the Philippines-CAR jointly launched Enhancing Industry Competitiveness project to help micro-processors hit by the COVID-19 lockdown.
Under the project, at least 16 vinegar samples from local processors were tested for acidity at the KSU-Central Science Laboratory.
