From the north bay. The shut off would begin tomorrow at 5 00 p. M. For the rest of the bay area 7 00. We begin with hayward. She found lots of customers who could have power turned off. Were here at fire station. What people in the affected communities here can expect this weekend are more firefighters, more police officers. More emergency dispatch making sure everything stays calm this weekend. Earlier we learned about how businesses and residents are preparing. We have a lot of things in place for the last time we thought there was a shower shut off. Were prepared. We have flashlights and well just go to bed. We got through it last time with struggle. Busy would be an under statement for the only gas station in the town. Two to 250 gas ns. Ca and 230 gallon of propane. Shop manager says last the location ran out of gas. This time the tank is full and more gas is scheduled to arrive at 6 00 a. M. Theres a need to adapt is this is the new norm. Its nonstop. I havent been able to sit down for six hours. Dry conditions and winds combined with high fire risk will leave 45,000 customers in the dark. Impacted areas include spots that went without power in the last round of shut offs.
