The National Weather service says that it is expecting an increased risk of sneaker waves, large shore waves and rip currents from 1 00 p. M. Through 9 00 pm tomorrow. By new years day, we could see waves up to 25 feet. Conditions are expected to hurt local fisherman and cramin who have already dealt with eight month delay in crab season this year. Usually these storms have been shortlived. You are not fishing, youre not bringing any money. He also says they tried to catch at least a couple thousand pounds of fish a day at about three dollars a pound. The National Weather service is warning people to stay off coast. Developing this morning, evidence of a horrible accident has San Mateo County investigators on the hunt. A car may have sped off a cliff near double slide. But no wreckage was found at the bottom. Here is a rundown of the clues. First, tire tracks leading off the cliff. Authorities also say they found the scattered car parts and the ways at nearby co. They are not sure where the pieces came from. Finally, the Fire Department says a credible witness told him the car exited highway 1 in a rush before driving off the cliff last night. They said that he was a credible witness. But again, no other evidence that indicates that this actually happened. That debris could be connected to what happened today, or it could not. We saw the response from authorities as they scoured land and sea for a wreckage. The coast guard is following leads on a green texas tech could be missing. They see to give them a call if you have any information. This morning, an investigation is underway after crews rushed to knock down a house fire in san jose. It broke out on live oak after at 9 00 last night. Two cats were rescued. No word yet on what caused the fire. A serial killer on death row for murdering his wife and mother in law in the bay area has died in san quentin state prison. 73yearold Philip Jablonski was found unresponsive in his so on friday. A San Mateo County jury sentenced him to death for the 19 in one murders of his wife and her 72yearold mother in berlin. He married her while he was in prison for killing a previous wife in 1978. As of this morning, his cause of death is still unknown. Us monday, two shooting suspect are behind bars after a Wild Police Chase that took them from san mateo all the way to fremont. This all started at the la hacienda market. The man was shot in the leg of the parking lot. The suspects led police on a highspeed chase across the dumbarton bridge. It all ended in a crash at thornton avenue and post street. The 21yearold man and 19year old woman were arrested. The shooting victim was minimal treated at a trauma center. No word yet on the motive. Menlo park police are searching for an armed bicyclist accused of shooting a dog and his owners when youre. Police say the dog was shot sunday night along kollie bernal avenue. Police say the bicyclist rode up to a house and saw the 4 yearold dog inside of a fenced in yard. They pulled out a gun and shot the blue nosed pit bull terrier. The dogs owner tells us he was in the garage when he heard a loud boom and heard his dog crying. To shoot a dog and for him to get lucky and actually live, you know, past that shot, it is so sad and so heartwarming. I was crying because half an hour literally feels like a dog, it is part of your family. I can outside. I happened to see eight guy biking that direction. I cannot see anything because of how dark it was. The suspect was last seen biking down your throat. Luckily, the dog pulled through and is stable. At the vet this morning, if you have any Information Contact police. San Bernardino Police are looking for these two men who allegedly snatched laptops from the best buy. They were able to get past security by using a stun gun on the guard. The guard this morning is okay. This morning, a man is on the run after stealing and dumping a car Placer County with two small children inside. The car was stolen near the Thunder Valley casino in lincoln. That is just outside of brockton. Looking, the cart was abandoned less than a quarter mile away. The children were found safe inside. Deputies believe the suspect ran off. A popular concord rest stop is not so popular anymore. Travelers said that the park and ride near willow pass is too dangerous and dirty to use. Many drivers say that they want to avoid issues including carts full of trash, presumably left by the local homeless population. Caltrans workers keep tidying up the area, but is difficult to keep up. Neighbors say that car break ins are becoming more common as well. The people who are forced to live on nearby streets say that they have nowhere else to go. They took all my stuff. Like, for some of my life that the car has been broken into like that. So it was unsettling for me. Not everybody is a criminal. Not everybody is doing bad things. Caltrans of the city of concord say that they dont plan to remove the Homeless People anytime soon. They are working with Contra Costa County to offer social suit and housing instead. Our levels in a reservoirs locally and upcountry look great. In santa clara, reservoirs are 76 full. Officials said they are heading into the new year withthat was worse than they did this here.
