He faces a slew of charges for trying to cut the edges on a play 167 charges in all a good number of them for attempted murder. Investigators accusing him of intentionally trying. Officials say emerson was off duty sitting in the cockpits jump seat. When he tried to shut down the planes engines. Officials say the planes captain co pilot and crew reacted quickly to maintain engine power and subdue emerson. Before the Emergency Landing, emerson was arrested by port of Portland Police and brought to jail. Their passengers were able to travel on a later flight. Alaska airlines owns horizon air and says theyre grateful for the professional handling of the situation by the crew and appreciate the passengers. Patients. Emerson is being held with no bail inmate records show long list of charges that he faces, including 83 counts of firstdegree attempted murder. 83 counts of Reckless Endangerment and one count of endangering an aircraft. From what ive heard is that they pulled the guy, tried to pull those down and got him down, which would have shut the fuel off but didnt and they had stopped them quick enough that they could put them back up and it didnt actually stop the fuel for those enough feel still in there that the fuel continued on. So there was never a moment where even the passengers said, well, what what just happened . You know what we lost feel or hear the engines quit. That never happened. Interesting, right. However, despite this back in august, state regulators did approve an expansion to allow crews in its competitor waymo to operate these driverless taxis throughout the city of San Francisco at all hours now, these groups say they do not agree with that may go on to say that the national highway traffic and Safety Administration is currently investigating 2 instances where victims were injured and had to go to the hospital to get care because of these taxis. Meanwhile, Santa Rosa Police say they seized about 5 ounces of what they believe is nyl during a trafc stop. So this happened at about 04 00pm in the area near santa rosa avenue. Police pulled over a car, they say for several mechanical violations and discovered that everybody inside was either on probation or had warrants for their arrest. Officers say one person admitted to having the fentanyl that was found. And so she was later booked into the Sonoma County jail. Time now 709. And police in santa rosa arrested 3 street vendors. They say they were selling cocaine and meth. And heres what investigators seized after they searched those suspects. The Police Narcotics team started investigating back in april and they used an undercover detective to purchase cocaine from one of the vendors. Investigators say that vendor also sold snacks to neighborhood kids near Abraham Lincoln Elementary School and Police Arrested 2 other people after a search of their van revealed drugs inside. Police were called to the home around 11 oclock at night for a noise complaint saturday night. And the host told police that she was working to shut down the party. The suit says he molested an 18 yearold woman and 20 yearold woman between 2014 in 2015. Believe there are several more victims afraid to come forward participating and allowing his behavior to go. The complaint cites a reported molestation of a 16 yearold girl in twentytwenty reported to police. The doctor was reportedly terminated shortly after if they would have listened to me. Lets go to the north bay because a winery in napa valley is set to reopen this week following the devastating glass fire back in 2020. You might remember that fire broke out in the napa valley destroyed 1500 structures, forced the evacuation of thousands of caused a lot of wineries have to shut their doors because of the damage they sustained. Well, 3 years after that fire, Sterling Vineyards is ready to welcome wine lovers back to their tasting room. The winery says that most of the damage was done to their wellknown gondola system. And as you can see here, its all back up and running. That vineyards gondola was actually built back in 1973. And now 50 years later, visitors can once again take in the views of the napa valley. And while the winery itself is closed to the public, the tasting room is available. And cal fire actually got a chance to use the gondola system to practice fire safety. As someone strap and we need to rescue. So we do a high angle rope rescue training as well and a confined space training. We know that people are working in the production area with a still tanks.
