In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Ladakh, the sole constituency in the newly formed Union Territory, gears up for a significant electoral battle. Following the revocation of Article 370 in 2019, Ladakh separated from Jammu and Kashmir. This constituency, with its vast area and sizable electorate, will vote in the fifth phase on May 20. The BJP, Congress, and an independent candidate from Kargil are poised for a three-way contest.
