LBCC approves contract for firm to manage $20 million MacKenzie Scott gift • Long Beach Post News

Long Beach City College received a $30 million gift from philanthropist, MacKenzie Scott in June 2021. The college's board of trustees set aside $20 million to invest in hopes of extending the life of the gift through annual investment gains.
