Leon County Schools asks for input on upcoming school year calendars

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â In an email sent to Leon County School parents Friday, the LCS Calendar Committee provided two options for the next two school years, and are asking for recommendations in a survey.
The options are for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years.
Below are the highlights for each calendar option:
Option 1 (2021-2022)
Early Release Days: December 15, 16 and 17, 2021
Early Release Days: May 23, 24 and 25, 2022
School year ends on Wednesday, May 25, 2022
Option 2 (2021-2022)
Early Release Days: May 23, 24 and 25, 2022
School year ends on Wednesday, May 25, 2022
