Lidl has confirmed social distancing rules remain in place despite some shoppers believing measures have been "done with".
Last week several shoppers contacted PlymouthLive with concerns that the stores in Union Street, St Budeaux Square and Transit Way were no longer enforcing the strict coronavirus policy.
One shopper said they estimated one store had more than 200 people inside and felt that there was "no one interested in keeping their distance at all".
