LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Police Department is searching for a driver who accelerated toward an officer during a traffic stop, disabled the officer's motorcycle, and led law enforcement on a pursuit, police said.
The officer sustained injuries in the incident but has since been treated and released.
If arrested, the driver would likely face charges of assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer and felony evasion of a police officer, said Officer Taylor Burruss, spokesperson for the Livermore Police Department.
