Long Beach seeking over $1B for 'priority projects' including a new bridge, park space

Long Beach is requesting over $1 billion from the state and federal governments to help fund a laundry list of projects that spans from street and alley improvements to bigger ticket items, like replacing the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier.
