Every candidate has the potential to be a great Premier according to Lunenburg MLA Suzanne Lohnes-Croft but she’s backing Randy Delorey as who she would like to see take over as Nova Scotias’ Premier.
She was particularly impressed with his plans for seniors, with Delorey announcing last week if elected he plans to introduce a low-income seniors dental plan and improve access to hearing aids.
The Lunenburg MLA has also said Delorey has excelled while in multiple high profile cabinet positions.
“He’s always been well-spoken on finance issues and I think that’s a big part of why he was able to succeed at Finance and Treasury, being able to communicate complex financial ideas to the public is such a valuable asset,” Lohnes-Croft said. ” I’ve always appreciated his work ethic on all his files, he’s an exceptional politician, he’s caring and he’s just a normal down to earth person.”
