The establishment of the Malaysian Family Community is to assist in informing the people about the government’s initiatives. 
Up to 18 Malaysian Family Communities have been launched in Kota Kinabalu, according to Sabah Information Director Nadzerah Abdullah, with the intention of forming informed communities and developing communication networks as change agents
