Man hit by car in Flint in critical condition

FLINT, MI -- A 53-year-old man is in critical condition after he was hit by a car in Flint Thursday evening.
Police responded to a traffic crash on West Pierson Road near Kermit Street at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Feb. 25, according to a Flint Police Department news release.
A Buick SUV was westbound when it struck a pedestrian crossing West Pierson Road, according to police.
The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation, according to police.
The victim, a 53-year-old man, was transported to Hurley Medical Center and is listed in critical condition. Next of kin was notified, police said.
