Man wanted for kidnapping arrested in Sioux Falls, according to MSCO

A man wanted for a kidnapping in Brookings County has been arrested, according to the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office.
Alexander Felipe Andrade, 23, was arrested Friday near the 1500 block of West Russell Street in a coordinated operation between the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Task Force, along with the Sioux Falls Police Department, according the sheriff's statement.
Andrade is accused of trying to kidnap a 22-year-old Sioux Falls woman on July 18 at about 4:20 a.m. near Oakwood State Park, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim was sitting in a car with two friends, when Andrade allegedly drove up in a blue Jeep, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Department. He allegedly got out of the Jeep with a machete and then began to swing it around, striking the car.
