Manistee Welcomes Return of Manistee National Forest Festival

This year’s festival features a carnival, petting zoo, along with arts and crafts vendors.
There’s also plenty of food, live music and fireworks on Sunday.
The Manistee County Chamber of Commerce says it’s exciting to have the festival back and to see people out enjoying a community tradition.
“The Forest Festival has a lot of tradition here in Manistee, people, their families come back to town and it’s a tradition here, and there’s 10,000 people that come in to the area that aren’t always necessarily here so it’s really a special time, not only for families,” said Kristina Bajtka, Director of Communications and Investor Relations, Manistee Area Chamber of Commerce
