Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi says they would have loved to finish the DStv Premiership campaign with a different points tally this season.
SuperSport had Guily Manziba sent off in the seventh minute for a horror tackle on Sphelele Mkhulise. Sundowns took full advantage, scoring three in the first half to take a commanding lead into half-time.
And although they took their foot off the pedal in the second and conceded, Mngqithi was pleased with how ruthlessly his side capitalised on their numerical advantage and put the game to bed early.
"The game was made to be easier which was worrying me because when there is a red card so early you start making mistakes or thinking the game is easy but I was happy with the level of professionalism with a lot of good counter pressing and never really giving them time on the ball," the Masandawana mentor told SuperSport TV.
