Matric Results: Protests in East Gauteng contributed to drop in district's pass rate, says Lesufi

Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi said that the east of the province, which was the worst performing district in Gauteng, had been marred by protests in 2021 that often led to communities shutting down schools.
