Maurice Rollins recognized for improving lives and building community

United Way Hastings & Prince Edward celebrates the generosity, innovation and selfless commitment of Maurice Rollins to the communities in Hastings & Prince Edward counties by announcing their main office building at 55 Harriett St., in Belleville, will now be called the Maurice Rollins Centre — Improving Lives & Building Community.
“Maurice Rollins is a local icon for good reason; his generosity is overwhelming and his understanding of the challenges that some members of our community face is deep” says Brandi Hodge, Executive Director, United Way Hastings & Prince Edward. “It is important to us to recognize the commitment he has made in his lifetime to our whole region – truly improving lives and building community – we are so proud to display his name on our building for all to see.”
