Minister seeks Ulema’s role in peace, harmony

LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Syed Saeed Al Hassan Shah has urged the scholars of different schools of thought to play an effective role in forging peace and harmony in the country.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday along with scholars from all schools of thought after reviewing arrangements for maintaining law and order and sectarian harmony in the province, he asked the leaders of different schools of thought to shun petty differences and work for maintaining peace and inter-sect harmony which, he emphasised, was the need of the hour to save the country from enemy conspiracies.
