In Thane, eleven individuals, including five children, narrowly escaped a fire that engulfed their MUV. Traveling from Mumbai to Nashik, the driver noticed the fire and promptly stopped. All occupants evacuated safely before the vehicle was completely destroyed. Firefighters extinguished the blaze within half an hour.
