Greenville man indicted
A Greenville man was indicted in Hillsborough Superior Court North on two felony-level charges.
Brandon Legere, 36, faces two counts including being a felon in possession of a deadly weapon, and falsifying physical evidence, which are both class B felonies. The charges each carry a three and a half to a seven-year prison sentence and a $4,000 fine if convicted.
Legere faces the first charge for allegedly possessing a Co2 handgun, which is classified as a deadly weapon. He faces the second charge for allegedly discarding the Co2 handgun in a snowbank while he was being pursued by the police.
