MP António Gameiro confirmed on 14 April that the Judicial Police carried out searches of his two homes and the office where he is a consultant, as part of the process that led to the arrest of the mayor of Vila Real de Santo António.
"Yesterday [13 April], the Judicial Police conducted searches of my two homes and the office where I am a consultant, having found no evidence of the practice of any crime," the socialist MP told Lusa news agency.
