nadda: 'Reckless registration of crime' based on absurd allegations: Karnataka HC on case against JP Nadda

The High Court of Karnataka has quashed criminal proceedings in a case against BJP president J P Nadda in connection with allegations of threatening voters during a speech ahead of assembly elections in May in Vijayapura district. ​​A complaint was lodged by an election officer at the Harapanahalli police station on May 9 under Section 171F.
