Nagpur imposes more restrictions as coronavirus cases swell to 1,710 | Nagpur News

Nagpur reported 1,710 new cases on Wednesday. This was the highest single-day spike after 173 days.
NAGPUR: In view of growing coronavirus cases, a seven-day lockdown from March 15 to March 21 has been announced in Nagpur district.
The Nagpur Police Commisionerate has been given responsibility to impose the lockdown to contain the spread of Covid-19 infection.
During the period of the lockdown, only essential services will be allowed to operate.

The Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s (NMC) weekly analysis of cases revealed the numbers are on rise in women and in the age-group of 21-40 years.
