At a special meeting last week, Cape May officials and project architect Robbie Conley presented the Historic Preservation Commission with plans to build a police station at 701 Lafayette St., where there is now a dog park and a dirt parking area. Plans call for a new multistory structure, to include a tower in a Victorian style.
