The new Whistler Food Buying Club offers locals a chance to buy bulk and case-lot products ranging from dry and canned goods to personal hygiene products and cleaning supplies.
Whistler's new Food Buying Club finally made its first delivery last week, after many unforeseen problems with the website and an injury sustained by the main organizer, Whistler Community Services Society (WCSS) program manager Kari Mancer.
The club, which was originally supposed to launch early last year, is an online system where customers can place orders for organic, bulk products then pick them up in Whistler in order to save money and avoid making the trek to warehouse stores Vancouver.
