TOWAMENCIN — Backstroke is “an up-and-coming thing” for North Penn boys swimming’s Mason Potts. “I’ve always been the backstroker in the relay and in eighth grade I had a states-qualifying time at Junior Olympics, but I didn’t swim the 100 back in high school until this year,” said Potts, a senior. “Which is kind of weird cause it’s four whole years I missed and then I went to J-Nats for it and did pretty good.
