NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION FOR VACATION OF PUBLIC ROADWAY Notice is hereby given that a Petition requesting that a certain public roadway be vacated in Mitchell Township, Davison County, South Dakota, pursuant to SDCL 31-3-6, as hereinafter specifically described has been received by the Board of Supervisors of Mitchell Township; that the Petition may be examined by contacting the Clerk of the Township at the address indicated below; that the specific description of the property being requested to be vacated is: That portion of the township roadway lying on the west side of a triangle of roads occurring where East First Avenue and East Havens Avenue intersect known as Wagon Road and formerly known as Old Landfill Road, Bartscher Road, Territorial Trail Road, Territorial Trail/Wagon Road and Wagon Road; said roadway being approximately 50 feet in width and approximately 500 feet in length. Therefore, notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Mitchell Township will hold a public hearing to consider the vacation of the above described public roadway; that such meeting will be held on Tuesday, the 29th day of March, 2022, at 6:00 pm at the Carnegie Resource Center, 119 West 3rd Ave, Mitchell, South Dakota. That any persons interested in the proposed action may be present at said date and time and present their information, opinions and/or arguments relative to the proposed action.
