Oil and brine spill reported in Williams county

(Epping, ND) -- Thousands of gallons of brine and several oil barrels have been spilled and then recovered in a Western North Dakota incident. The North Dakota Oil and Gas Division was alerted to a spill of approximately 2,490 barrels of brine and 10 barrels of oil that began on September 2nd, 2023, at the PANKOWSKI SWD 1 well.
