Ojai Unified considers what 2021-22 school year could look like
With fourth quarter just on the horizon, Ojai Unified School District leaders are looking into the future and considering what a 2021-22 school year will look like.
Superintendent Tiffany Morse talked about tentative plans for the upcoming year at the district's Wednesday evening school board meeting. Though safety protocols will be an utmost priority, the district is planning to move away from a strong emphasis on distance learning.
Currently, Ojai's youngest students are back in the classroom for hybrid learning. They returned in phases back in early November, when Ventura County was in the red tier — the second strictest in the state's colored COVID-19 monitoring system — for the first time.
