Technology has played a critical role in helping restaurants continue to operate during the pandemic, which is why Oracle Food and Beverage has doubled its MICROS Simphony point-of-sale integrations to give brands access to a variety of partner applications including online ordering and contactless payment apps.
"It's crucial that restaurants have a variety of technology options at their disposal as they test new ways to operate in a still uncertain environment," Simon de Montfort Walker, senior vice president and general manager of Oracle Food and Beverage, said in a company press release. "Our ecosystem of validated partner solutions means our customers can extend their Oracle MICROS Simphony capabilities in just minutes or hours to meet a distinct need or take advantage of a new revenue opportunity."
