The most noticeable change will be a cutback in the use of sprinklers in less visible areas of OSU’s Corvallis campus. 
“It will be unsightly for awhile, but then the fall rains will bring it back to life," said Joe Majeski, OSU’s facility services director.
 
High-traffic parts of campus, including those in the main quad, will continue to receive most of their usual amount of water, he said.
 
The school said it’s also reducing the amount of water given to drought-tolerant trees and shrubs on campus. Athletic fields will continue to be watered "for the safety of athletes," according to an OSU press release.
