Outdoor, in-person programming returns to Des Moines Library

Outdoor, in-person programming is returning to the Des Moines Public Library.
For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic canceled all in-person live library programming, we will be inviting guests to join us, in person, for a series of outdoor programs throughout the spring and into the summer.
“It’s been a beautiful spring so far, and we can’t wait to celebrate with outdoor events and literacy-based activities outside at the libraries,” Sue Woody, Des Moines Public Library Director, said. 
Safety remains the library’s top priority, so all outdoor, in-person events will follow current City of Des Moines mask mandates and social distancing requirements.
