(Photo courtesy of Zamboanga City Police Office) ZAMBOANGA CITY - Authorities have arrested 10 drug suspects as they dismantled a drug den and seized some PHP930,172 worth of illegal drugs in anti-drug operations during the week in the region. The biggest drug haul involved the arrest of an alleged big-time drug trader and the confiscation of some PHP678,572 worth of suspected shabu in Zamboanga del Sur. Col. Diomarie Albarico, Zamboanga del Sur police director, said some 99.79 grams of suspected shabu was seized from Ibrahim Maganona alias Ian, 35, who was arrested on Tuesday afternoon in Barangay Muricay, Pagadian City. Also seized from Maganona were a tricycle, a sling bag, a pouch, and a PHP500 marked money placed on top of a bundle of boodle money. The other arrested suspects were identified as Roger Baghari, 56; Laurel Lasola, 41; Bert Marquez, 37; Jeremy Aroy, 26; Ronald Ansula, 34; Alvin Mudin, 28; Kim Enriquez, 22; Allinor Puyat, 30; and Roace Laurente, 36. Col. Alexander Lorenzo, Zamboanga City Police Office director, said Baghari, Lasola, Marquez and Aroy were arrested as authorities dismantled a drug den Thursday night in Barangay Tugbungan here. Seized from the drug den were some 15 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP102,000 and several illegal drug paraphernalia. Lorenzo said Ansula was arrested in possession of some 15 grams of suspected and PHP1,000 marked money in a buy-bust Wednesday night in Barangay Tumaga. Lorenzo said Mudi and Enriquez were arrested in a buy-bust Wednesday afternoon in Barangay Kasanyngan. Seized from the two were some three grams of suspected shabu worth PHP20,4000 and a PHP200 marked money. Col. Eduard Mallo, Zamboanga Sibugay police director, said Puyat yielded some six grams of suspected shabu worth PHP40,800 in a buy-bust Tuesday afternoon in Barangay Bankerohan, Ipil town. Also seized from Puyat were a PHP500 marked money placed on top of a bundle of counterfeit PHP500 used as boodle money, a cellular phone and a coin purse. Albarico said Laurente, who is listed as a top priority target, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Barangay Sto. Nino, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur. Recovered from Laurente's possession were a gram of suspected shabu worth PHP6,800, a cellular phone, a coin purse and PHP500 marked money. (PNA) }
