Leader of the House Richard Chimwendo Banda has told the Public Appointments Committee (PAC) of Parliament to give a detailed report why they failed Ombudsman Martha Chizuma on her interviews as the Director General for Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
Yesterday, Ombudsman Chizuma appeared before Parliamentary Committee on Public appointments for her confirmation as the ACB head following President Lazarus Chakweraâs appointment.
However, PAC rejected Chizuma, a development which was not welcomed by the members of the general public.
Following the development, Chimwendo Banda, moved a motion this morning using section 81 of the Parliamentary Standing Orders in which he questioned PAC resolution that rejected Chizuma.
