Longtime CBS executive Julie McNamara is leaving her post as EVP and head of programming at ViacomCBS streaming service Paramount+, with word on further change for the streamer’s content structure reportedly due in the coming weeks.
McNamara, who had been with CBS and ViacomCBS for 15 years, recently headed up original content for CBS All Access before taking the head of programming post for its evolved iteration, Paramount+. In her memo to staff, she said: “At CBS All Access, the introduction of our Original Series exponentially grew the subscriber base and profile of the platform, and set the stage for what’s to come. Now, Paramount+ is launched and poised to capitalize on the breadth and depth of talent across multiple brands, with series lined up by the incredible P+ creative team.”
