Parents outraged with Cabarrus County middle school realignment

CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Parents were outraged at the Cabarrus County School Board meeting Tuesday night, upset about the proposed Cabarrus County middle school realignment.
It's being driven by the construction of a new middle school that would pull middle school students out of their current enrollment. Some parents say the realignment could double or even triple their commute.
