BRIAN Enriquez felt that he made a good account of himself in two workouts with Ginebra and was confident the team would take a long, hard look at him.
"I had a good feeling. I had good workouts, but with Ginebra, there's just that gutfeeling that they might be interested in me," he told

That hunch proved to be true when the Fil-Am swingman was taken first in the second round, 13th overall by the Gin Kings, much to his delight.
It was another positive twist to what has been a roller coaster ride for Enriquez, a 6-foot-3 forward from William Woods University who was supposed to play a one-and-done year in the UAAP for University of the East before the COVID-19 pandemic hit sports.
