The PCM Mustangs competed in their first basketball double header in a week, splitting the contests against West Marshall Friday. The girls remain winless following their 57-40 loss while the boys are riding a three game winning streak after their 62-34 victory, both of which were heard live on the KRLS3 stream at kniakrls.com.
The girls had their hands full with the Trojans, who were led by Katy Reyerson, a six footer averaging over 20 points a game. The Mustangs fought valiantly in the first three quarters. Sophomore Paige Steenhoek, averaging just six per game, had a whopping 17 Friday night, including a three at the halftime buzzer to make it a four point game heading into the locker room.
