IT's the end of an era after dramatic pictures show demolition of a former Darlington nightclub well underway.
For the past few weeks, the former Audio nightclub on Commercial Street in the town centre has been gradually razed to the ground.
The former club, which first opened its doors to Darlington in the 1970s, had remained vacant for the past decade after its stint as Audio.
The iconic venue had been previously known under names including Zhivagos, Oscar's, Emmy's, the Plastered Parrot, The Lounge and Cactus Jack's.
