Sourcepoint, a US-based technology platform that helps publishers and advertisers obtain privacy law-compliant consent from consumers to use their data, has raised $17 million.
The round, led by Arrowroot Capital, brings the 5-year-old company's total funding to $47.8 million.
Sourcepoint CEO Ben Barokas says the company will use the investment to expand into new countries and fund new acquisitions.
New privacy regulations are springing up around the globe at a rapid pace on the heels of Europe's General Data Protection Regulation and California's Consumer Privacy Act taking effect the past few years.
