Pixar once again makes Bay Area proud at Oscars with 'Soul' win for best animated picture

It’s almost an understatement to say Emeryville-based animation studio Pixar has produced some of the best animated films ever made. At this year’s Oscars they had not one, but two entries in the category for best animated picture.
One nomination went to "Onward," their ode to "Dungeons and Dragons," for which they enlisted an actual geek squad to make sure every dorky detail rang true.
